Stories - Brought to Life

Cinesite was production partner for Frameless and the National Portrait Gallery, on Stories – Brought to Life, an immersive experience first launched in May 2025 at Media City, Greater Manchester.

Stories – Brought to Life allows visitors to step inside the stories behind some of the UK’s most iconic portraits, through a powerful blend of art, technology and human storytelling.

In May 2026, Frameless announced a limited-run residency at its Central London venue, featuring five cultural icons from the original show – Queen Elizabeth II, Nelson Mandela, William Shakespeare, Amy Winehouse and Malala Yousafzai.
