Sean serves as Creative Director for Assemblage Entertainment, Cinesite’s partner studio in Mumbai/Bangalore. Based in Bangalore, he leverages decades of global experience to drive the studio’s creative vision, always pushing the boundaries of animation and working closely with teams to help them develop both artistically and professionally.

Before joining Assemblage, Sean spent several years anchoring major creative operations across Europe and Asia. He served as the Associate Global Head of Animation for Mikros Animation in Bangalore, following high-profile stints in Paris as their Head of Animation and Head of Story. His transition into the overseas animation market began as the Creative Director for Technicolor Animation & Games in Bangalore.

Prior to his international leadership roles, Sean spent years shaping major Hollywood properties and interactive media. He was the Marketing Lead for Disney Interactive’s AAA title Disney Infinity, where he oversaw the creative production for all marketing pieces. His extensive credits on high-profile feature titles include acting as Animation Lead, Supervisor, Head of Story, and Director of Animation on beloved films such as Stuart Little, Hotel Transylvania, and Planes, achievements that earned him a prestigious VES Award and an Annie Award nomination for Individual Achievement in Animation.

Sean’s foundational expertise spans over 30 years and encompasses artistic, supervisory, directorial, and executive levels across animated and hybrid features, episodic series, commercials, shorts, and gaming. A versatile talent in both traditional and CG mediums, his skill set covers story and visual development, character design, storyboarding, and animation.

Sean is a proud alumnus of the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), where his lifelong dedication to the animation industry first began.
