VFX producer Olivia is skilled in managing resources, budgets, teams and client feedback, which are all essential in delivering exceptional visuals. She has produced visual effects for major shows for studios including Netflix, HBO and Apple TV. “Much of my role,” she says, “is about close collaboration and building a nurturing environment across the wider team. A clearly structured show, where everyone feels supported, is so important to establish and maintain throughout each stage of the project.”
Having studied English (BA), then Comparative Literature: Critical Theory (MA), the former in Sussex and the later in Amsterdam, Olivia took her first industry position at DNEG where her skills in critical thinking and communication proved invaluable. Early credits included Black Mirror, Dark Crystal and The Matrix: Resurrections. At MPC, where Olivia held positions as VFX Production Manager and VFX Associate Producer, she helped deliver The Wheel of Time (S1), Slow Horses (S1) and Prehistoric Planet.
In 2023, Olivia was VFX producer for Cinesite’s work on the Emmy-nominated True Detective: Night Country, a production which featured extensive invisible VFX, challenging weather effects and character animation. Following this, she delivered Apple production The Lost Bus, directed by Paul Greengrass.
Outside of work, Olivia enjoys discovering new pubs and restaurants, city breaks, long walks and and open water swimming.
