Julien Duchet is a seasoned CG Supervisor at L’Atelier Animation, bringing over 25+ years of expertise to the forefront of feature animation. Known for his technical leadership and ability to architect scalable production pipelines, Julien bridges the gap between creative ambition and technical execution, ensuring the studio’s most complex visions are realised efficiently.
Throughout his distinguished career, Julien has specialised in rigging, animation, cloth simulation, grooming, and crowd simulation. This deep technical background allows him to oversee the production process with a unique understanding of how character performance and technical architecture intersect.
Since joining L’Atelier Animation, Julien has been a cornerstone of the studio’s major projects, including; 10 Lives, Fireheart, Ballerina (Leap!) & Soccer Star (The Inseparables).
Before his tenure at L’Atelier, Julien spent over two decades at premier animation houses including Mikros Animation, TeamTO, Marathon Animation, and Attitude Studio. His extensive filmography features high-profile credits such as DreamWorks’ Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie, Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero, Snowtime!, and some Asterix theme park attractions.
