Julie Pigeon is the Head of Production at L’Atelier Animation and brings over 20 years of experience in animation production. She began her career in 2D animation, where she quickly developed strong expertise in production management and post-production, working on projects such as the series Totally Spies and the feature film The Suicide Shop.

In 2013, Julie transitioned into 3D animation and contributed to the delivery of several major productions, including the feature film Snowtime!, which topped the Quebec and Canadian box office in 2016, as well as its sequel Racetime!. This experience allowed her to develop a deep understanding of every stage of production, from script development through to final post-production delivery.

Since joining L’Atelier Animation, Julie has played a central role in overseeing productions and supporting teams throughout all phases of the pipeline. She ensures a balance between creative ambition, production realities, schedules, and budgets, while consistently maintaining a high level of quality. She has notably contributed to projects such as Fireheart, the Netflix series Kitti Katz, as well as the feature films 10 Lives and Night of the Zoopocalypse.

Julie is recognised for her leadership and her close relationship with production teams. She values collaboration, clear communication, and constantly looks for ways to improve workflows and production processes. Her ability to balance creative goals, client expectations, budgets, deadlines, and team well-being makes her a respected and valued production leader.
