With over 25 years in the VFX industry, Nathalie Girard stands out as a visionary leader and creative force. As a VFX Creative Supervisor and Senior Positive Lead Manager, Nathalie excels in driving creative direction, managing budgets, and ensuring precision and accuracy in post-production. Her leadership fosters a culture of collaboration and innovation, consistently aiming for both team and client satisfaction.

Nathalie’s career is marked by her ability to thrive in dynamic environments and her dedication to achieving excellence. Her background includes running large international departments, where she has led over 225 employees across five diverse departments, including Compositing, Digital Matte Painting, Editorial I/O, RotoPrep, Imaging, and Color.

Her notable achievements include serving as Head of Operations 2D at Rodeo FX, where she significantly enhanced efficiencies through operational AI tools and workflows, such as Foundry’s Nuke Copy Cat AI, which streamlined production processes and reduced costs. Nathalie’s leadership has been recognized with a VES Award for Outstanding Visual Effects in a Special Venue Project in 2012 and her impactful contributions to high-profile projects like Transformers: The Ride, Rocket Man, The Witches, Birds of Prey and Loki Marvel.

Nathalie previously worked at Cinesite as Head of 2D and DFX Supervisor from March 2018 to October 2019 and has recently returned to the company. A passionate advocate for creativity and society, she is a sought-after speaker, having presented at prominent events such as INSPIRA, C2 Montreal, and SINFO. She has also hosted webinars and events for Foundry, sharing her insights on leadership and innovation in VFX.
