As an award-winning Executive Producer for Cinesite’s immersive division, Sebastian adeptly manages teams, budgets and timelines. Throughout the production pipeline, Sebastian plans, coordinates and problem-solves, always ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality immersive content and experiences.

Starting his professional career as an animator and generalist, Sebastian created commercials, idents and visual effects for documentaries. With this experience, Sebastian moved on to become the founding director of production company Skaramoosh, producing long form children’s TV shows and working with key studios such as Disney and Discovery. As this company expanded, Sebastian moved into the production side where he gained experience as a producer.

In 2024, Sebastian was awarded a prestigious Visual Effects Society award for his contribution to FRAMELESS’ Rembrandt immersive art experience. Another standout career highlight for Sebastian includes working on the Emmy award-winning Alien Worlds, a Netflix sci-fi nature docu-fiction. Sebastian notes, “We moved ideas from the page through to the mood boards and digitally created incredible worlds with creatures never seen before, all within one team.” Maintaining his great work with Netflix, Sebastian also delivered the visual effects for action-packed feature, The Union, starring Mark Wahlberg in 2024.

Sebastian prides himself on leading through clear direction and encouraging a team to take ownership and control of their work. His past career experience in a variety of different roles has given him an understanding of how processes work from different viewpoints including both the vendor and client side.

Outside of work, Sebastian enjoys mountain biking and hiking, helping him to clear his mind before diving into and delivering his best for a new visual effects project.
